FAQ - ANNUAL BILLING

Information about your bill, relative to your rental guarantee, and your most frequently asked questions.

If your lease is terminated or is going to be terminated

We must receive the guarantee release from your rental agency before December 31, 2010 to automatically cancel your bill. Make sure that your agency sends us the guarantee release document. If the deadline is not met, the bill is due in its entirety.

If you are not contractually linked to our company

Let us know by sending a letter to SwissCaution, Route de Renens 1, Case postale 480, 1030 Bussigny, or an email to info@swisscaution.ch, clearly indicating the purpose of your communication. We will handle your request as quickly as possible.

If you wish to terminate your SwissCaution contract

The termination of your contract is possible at any time. You just need to provide your rental agency with a new rental guarantee. The rental agency will then release the guarantee from our company. If we receive the release of your guarantee from your rental agency before December 31, 2010, the bill for the 2011 premium will be cancelled. If we do not receive the guarantee release before this date, the bill is due in its entirety.

If you think that the bill amount is not correct

The amount of the annual premium is 5% of the guarantee + Fr. 20.- administration costs + 5% federal stamp. If your bill does not correspond to this, send a letter to SwissCaution, Route de Renens 1, Case postale 480, 1030 Bussigny, or an email to info@swisscaution.ch, clearly indicating your file number and the purpose of your communication. We will handle your request as quickly as possible.

If you have paid your annual primium two times
Send a letter to SwissCaution, Route de Renens 1, Case postale 480, 1030 Bussigny or an email to info@swisscaution.ch. Be sure to include the number of your file, the purpose of your communication with proof of your payments, as well as your bank or post details for the reimbursement. We will handle your request as quickly as possible.
